if it weren’t for leo messi, i would have never started watching football or fallen in love with barça. that’s why, no matter how much i hate the current state of argentine football, i have never stopped watching #10. from my childhood to my adulthood, i’ve witnessed so many of his highs and lows—from seeing him leave barça and retire from the national team the first time because he couldn’t take the heartbreak of letting down his country anymore, to seeing him finally win the world cup in 2022. 2022 was special not only because he won it, but because he put his blood, sweat, and tears into that tournament. his second chapter arc was truly a sight to see, and i am so glad i got to witness it and see him win it all. watching argentina will never be the same

5 wins from 5 matches. i couldn’t ask for a better start to the season and the new ucl campaign. we had a good mix of seasoned players and newcomers, but they looked like they’ve been playing together for years. raphinha and lamine did not come to play. that first goal inside 3 minutes was crazy, and lamine’s ball into jesus for his first goal on his first touch was amazing. lamine captaining for the first time was so special. he also put up one of his best performances, but by now it’s standard for him.

Valencia0 - 5Barcelonasmiling through it all because i can’t believe this is my life. what a start to the season. i’m so impressed with fermín and the strides he’s taken. lamine and fermín linkup play is incredible. rodri did well setting the tempo in his debut and for my own personal brand the pedri goal made my whole week
BarcelonaBarcelona5 - 2Rayo Vallecano
always a good day when lamine scores 😌 the first half was a bit shaky but they got it together in the second half. raphinha gains superpowers everytime he wears the captain armband. anthony gordon is the best 70m we ever spent
