FERRANNNN i feel so vindicated!!!! everyone clowns me for liking this man but i truly see the vision. he's not perfect but i hope people give him more credit now :") the match momentum chart actually crazy - if not for emi martinez (second in running for motm imo), argentina would've been in big trouble. one similarity about spain and argentina to me is the whole teamwork factor. but while argentina is more of teamwork to serve Messi, spain is more teamwork makes the dream work, if you catch my drift. happy that it didn't go to pens cuz honestly argentina has the upper hand there. i like them 99% for Messi and he's already won the world cup so it's great that spain has done it again after 16 years - and in similar 1-0 fashion too

wack ass match fr. quality wise was this peak? probably not, but it certainly was one of the most heartstopping of the entire competition. the possibility of bottling a 4-0 lead was keeping my ass clenched tighter than when Arsenal had the whole 2-up curse thing happening. nothing burger game WHOOO?? Saka you are my starboy 4eva 🌟. honestly wasn't having ANY confidence but Spence winning the pen and Saka scoring injected some life back into my (and the team's, probably) veins. tactics wise i was rather baffled if i do say so myself. am an armchair athlete but why was Toney there for as long as he was - was he bribing with saudi money or what genuinely what is the man doing the entire time. i was begging for a Kane sub but i guess after Watkins came on, and Rashford was also subbed for someone else, it wouldn't make sense to put Kane in for Saka who'd been cooking. props to France for making this extra exciting in the second half. really thought we were getting the Mbappe special but he locked in after France caved and put their first team back on.
