Such a disappointing finale, to what had been a mostly entertaining world cup. It felt like Martínez's goal was impenetrable, but the relentless Spanish attack finally paid off. Would Argentina have been better with a more attacking mindset? We'll never know. They had chances. But squandered each and every one of them.
