Wow . Really surprised me. Fault was probably at shutting up and making a back 6 in the 75th minute Argentina very dirty as expected Should've exploited the fullbacks a lot more, and the sloppy passes that Argentina were always going to give away on the way to Messi through the center, should've been picked up and exploited by bellingham and co a lot better. Thought Argentina were very gettable from watching all their games, especially the midfield battle but in the end the sitting back gave way to some silly errors that they took advantage of They could've been very prone to counter like the one Gordon scored from, with more pace added in 60minutes + or so. Thought madueke + saka /Rashford should've been on instead of the pragmatic jump to sit back and park the bus, until a little later atleast When the lights are shining and the adrenaline is pumping, and Jordan Pickford gets to hoof the ball the length of the pitch without getting on the ball, he looks like god's gift. Can't really fault him entirely for the mistakes, especially looking at the space open, but god did he look ropey. Wouldve honestly swapped him out for Trafford against Panama when I had the chance but fair play. Not blaming Pickford though. Did have a great one against Mexico tbf but this will probably be pickford's last continuous start for England again Messi pacified well by the Djed Spence penitentiary. Don't let the 9.0 rating on fotbmob trick you otherwise, as great as he has been Djed Spence what a performance mate. Liked Burn up front aswell Couldn't stop laughing seeing Grandpa Ivan Toney enter the pitch after 95 minutes lol. Fair play to the guy Really thought 🏴 were going to cruise through, but who am I

Great performance. Would've been a joy to have been in the stadium for a forever remembered all timer of the sport - which are just stacking up in this tournament Subs were used excellently I wonder how the reactionary lot will take this one after very likely guaranteeing England's fate by a 3 goal deficit Also, one last thing, you won't see it because England won, but I can't understand the life of me the scapegoating of players like Djed Spence and Noni Madueke. If England win this world cup they will be 'cult heroes' of the cause. Not that he lit it up but I thought Spence looked sharp when he came on. Not a fantastic, or even very good player but a decent little player. Actually made me £17 for their win and haaland brace Did go in thinking Norway would escape but not by a country mile. Momentum was all in Brazil's favour probably until the hydration break where it swung Norways way. Norway disappointed me to a slow start after that offside goal but they turned it around when the time it mattered Maybe the cup charge is on... I have been saying this. Don't rule out norway to go the full length. However I do think Norway goes out next round nonetheless. Fantastic run from the newcomers Can Haaland sneak his way to that golden boot? I was very impressed with Gabi and Vini's linkup especially in the first 30. Could we see it at the Emirates next season? 👀 Not to delve into the deeper issues of the failing Brazil squad, but I do think that if Ancellotti could've unlocked Endrick as the 9 before the tournament begun, Brazil could've pulled up trees a lot higher than we've seen. I know it's easy to state hypotheticals as such but I think Endrick as the centerpiece for many tactical points could seriously be the difference for Brazil, but I guess were not gonna see that now . I mean again, not to stray away but I think he should be leading the line for RMA next season with mbappe and a top echelon RW beside him next season with Bellingham behind. I think there is a Serious serious player in Endrick Maybe the hydration breaks swayed Norway's momentum because I thought Brazil were controlling the tempo for quite a long period of time. Even though I went into it with high expectations for Norway, they didn't get off to a great start, aside from that offside goal. Bit of a bad penalty desicion in my option for the one replay I saw, but i suppose neymar did get his last ever kick moment Big Gabi will get the big Braut next time 💪 And by the way, that mother of 3 Andreas Schjelderup is a decent little player 👏

I'm up at any time for Messi, and what a game that has delivered. Incredible display from both sides Messi was quite lackluster excluding the goal, and probably didn't supplement enough off the ball to credit a good performance, as well as id credit him of course if he did drop a great performance Ive been getting Gyokeres scoring braces for arsenal kinds of dopamine when Messi gives his moments in this world cup Hands on head. unbelievable. even to the celebrations getting into the crowd with his family. what a goal from Carbal. Jawdropping stuff. Euphoric Thought Enzo had a particularly good game, honorary MVP in the first 90. and messi did a bit of Messi stuff. Appreciated a far from recent form Mac Alister tight knitted game in the middle of the park, two center halves were solid and took their goals well, especially from Lisandro Honestly 80% of the Cape Verde players were absaloutely incredible. Fantastic from Cabral, mendes, duarte, montiero,Pina. What an underdog fight. But you've got to give the flowers to mr Instagram Vozinha 🌹 🌺 . One of the great games in WC history

Will be such a commonly, ridiculously brain-dead reactionary response from fans and media Stinkfest Very unlucky to the Dr's, good effort at some underdog glory However, I and I'm sure everyone else could smell that from a mile away considering the reserved nature of the opposition, and the front 3 met torwards that. Good 2 goals from Kane and that's his world class qualify, but let's not forget that he was poor throughout the game, and the match style would've suited Gordon and Watkins far better, which could've been effortlessly anticipated. Kane done what he does best with firstly a good poachers finish then a great solo attempt once the game opened up later for the equalizer. Poor poor performance but England shouldn't face another team like Congo/Ghana coming up in the knockouts, and tuchels style and selection should meet well against the big dogs,your Argentina's, Frances, Spains, but firstly Mexico, which should make for an excellent matchup. Against a Low Block like Congo, Kane and Rashford on after 70, after the defence being run ragged by roadrunners Madueke and Gordon, and Bellingham and Watkins causing great linkup down the middle would suit a stable performance much more positively, however I doubt that will be necessary in futher knockout. Saka looked a decent threat but fatigued when sprinting, Madueke performed well, including Spence on the overlap. Left side completely stank it out as expected. Orielly missing, Rashford awful. Bellingham okay, rice and Anderson doing a job. The two center Half's were awful, despite their capable qualities. What a stinker of a match..don't let the reactionary media response fool you. Should be a great clash however against Mexico
