COMPLAINING TIME!!! 1. I never want to see Lotte and Leah defensive pairing again. They can’t communicate and they don’t trust each other at all and it’s completely obvious when you watch them play. So many easily avoidable mistakes because they can’t play well together. 2. It makes absolutely no sense to be hooking Lisa Baum in big games like this. If she is genuinely having a bad game I understand, or if she’s visibly tired sure. But that’s literally never been the case, and she’s consistently one of our best attackers so why does Slegers keep doing this? 3. Cerci needs more playing time. She was a top scorer in her previous league and scoring goals is obviously an issue for us so whyyyy is she not playing more? Especially in a game like this, we had so many corners in the first half and she’s our best aerial threat but she can’t even get a start? THIS MAKES NO SENSE. 4. What is the end goal of this Foord propaganda. Sure today she wasn’t awful but she is not a player you put on the pitch to defend a lead. And in previous games even if her mistakes don’t lead to us conceding they’ve still been a net negative on our game it’s actually stupid how she’s always getting subbed on. 5. What’s the point of Reuteler’s versatility if she never gets playing time. Is she shit in training? If she is, why is she on the bench. 6. Slegers has got to go sorry. I know it’s not entirely her fault that our attackers are scared to shoot but her lineups and substitution decisions are consistently awful and it’s like she’s trying to make us flop. Mariona’s injury today is entirely avoidable if she wasn’t constantly starting her and making her play out of position. We have depth. USE IT. 7. Ok I’ll end on a positive note. Russo got her shooting boots back! Lisa Baum excellent as always. Very positive stuff from Battlle today. Kyra has also been so impressive like wow I’m so moved. And I think we can win the 27/28 WSL2 😂😂😂

Portsmouth vs Derby: A Night of Football That Occasionally Resembled a Toilet Emergency Portsmouth vs Derby had all the ingredients of a proper Championship match: noise, tackles, misplaced passes, frustrated supporters and, from a Portsmouth perspective, a performance that currently smells a little like something you would urgently need to flush. Derby lead 2–0 as this review is being written, and the scoreline represents a miserable evening for Portsmouth supporters. The home side have seen plenty of the ball and created some pressure, but football is unfortunately not scored using possession statistics, enthusiasm or how loudly someone shouts “COME ON” after a throw-in. If it were, Portsmouth might be doing considerably better. Instead, Derby have been the more efficient side when it mattered, while Portsmouth have sometimes looked like they were trying to pass the ball through a particularly complicated plumbing system. The opening stages promised plenty. Portsmouth attempted to take control, moving the ball around and trying to establish some rhythm. Derby, meanwhile, looked organised and prepared to absorb pressure. Unfortunately for the home side, possession gradually became a bit like owning an expensive toilet brush: technically useful, but not necessarily something you want to celebrate unless it actually solves the problem. Derby struck first, and suddenly Fratton Park had the atmosphere of somebody discovering that the toilet has stopped flushing. There was confusion. There was frustration. There was a brief period of everyone wondering exactly how things had gone wrong so quickly. From there, Portsmouth had the difficult task of responding without becoming desperate. Easier said than done. The home side continued to see a significant amount of possession, but turning that possession into genuinely dangerous opportunities proved difficult. Want to start with saying RIP to legend Jimmy Rimmer and condolences to his family. HEITS 💜💙🕊 I thought we were a lot better, Suzuki looks class for our system, his pinged passes were very satisfying to see. Cash actually had a good game too. I thought Tzolis was quite lucky to stay on the pitch, if the he wasn't already booked the referee would've given him a yellow for that 2nd drag back. Jackson looked sharp but we didn't offer him a lot. McGinn and Torres were quite off it again, lots of silly passes and slow reaction time. Bringing Tammy on for Jackson was very head-scratching, I don't really know how Abraham fits in our team as much as I love him. The thing Unai needs to drill into Jackson is work rate, that's what Watkins did best. Even when having a bad game he'd be non-stop running his socks off. That's the main thing we missed today intensity. Hemmings is very raw, he got a few things wrong today, however he has time to learn, I do like the look of him. Wan-Bissaka's cameo was very promising, every tackle was amazing. I can see why he's seen as one of the best ball tacklers in the world and hopefully he can give Cash a run for his money. (pardon the pun) Referee and officials were shocking, I've mentioned the Tzolis moment, but that penalty decision absolutely shocking. Everyone in the stadium could see it was not in the penalty area, they just guessed and gave a penalty. That's what VAR is there for though. I thought he gave so many soft fouls for both teams too, and didn't give many obvious fouls. Arsenal were way off it, I think if we had a sharper attack we would've definitely scored. But that's what league winners do, win the ugly games. I do think they will retain once again, not many teams can play below par and win like that. Well done to my Arsenal friends, however I hope we return the favour with a win at the Emirates later in the season. Promising signs - still Mbaye, Harwood-Bellis, Madjo and Manzambi to come in. The world cup final is over. This tournament has been incredible, and this community has made it far more enjoyable. Thank you to everyone who has played a part in this incredible community. I was born in Sutton on October 7th, 2006. Just under two years later my brother was born, and a year after that we moved to South-West London, where I have lived ever since. I may not be a Castellon fan, but I am an Arsenal fan, like my brother and my parents. We sit and watch all of the matches together, unless we're at the Emirates. I was introduced to Bookd by my brother. I saw him talking on this app and it looked intriguing, so I asked him what the app was, and I downloaded it. Thank you, @elz , for introducing me to Bookd. I found the penguin GIF simply by typing "football" into the GIFs tab. I am unable to recreate this. Perhaps it was fate that I found that GIF. I am 19 years old, and entering the second year of my Games Design university course at my University in central london. I have always had a passion for games. I went to a seaside arcade, played the 2p machines, and had fish and chips for lunch. For the first hour and a half of this game, my superstitions seemed futile. England seem to take dangerously long to get going. It was a difficult watch. I was watching the game begging for a creative attacking midfielder to come on. Eberechi Eze performed silent miracles after his substitution, Saka and Gordon should undoubtedly start against Mexico alongside O'Reilly and Spence. Elliot Anderson played excellently. He was by far our best player, particularly for the first sixty minutes. I am terrified for the Mexico game, but I believe we can do this. Come on England. @alf I am very glad that the "Hello Freddie" GIF has arrived!! Thank you for creating it, I smile whenever i see it. This morning I went for a walk around a park and I went to the beach. I am in a seaside town and it is wonderfully quiet as the summer holidays have not yet begun. I have had a great day and this match was a cherry on top. Japan function excellently as a unit and are a joy to watch. Brazil's display was twice as exciting. Their individual brilliance and flair was on display all throughout the game as it always is. The winner was a clear example of this. I find this result therefore gives me a lot of hope for the state of football. I believe that creativity is what should come to the surface at the highest level of competition. Japan played an excellent game tonight but Brazil have got stars of which can come up with moments, and those moments were on display tonight. We love Gabriel Martinelli.

I did not pay much attention. Ousmane Dembelé is Excellent. I now watched Ebere Ezé, Harry Kane, Lionel Messi, and today Jørgen Strand Larsen all take stutter penalties in the last month and miss. I do not like the stutter penalty. You are professional footballers. You all must have practiced taking penalties thousands of times in your careers. Just kick the ball.

Well that’s our World Cup journey done. I can confidently say that it went just about as I expected when I realized what group we were in after that win against Bolivia in Guadalupe. However, I am still incredibly proud to have witnessed my country participate in this tournament for only the SECOND time in our HISTORY. I think that this group of players has the potential to do something in the future, as long as we don’t shoot ourselves in the foot. And that really is the best way to describe the three games we’ve played here. Shooting ourselves in the foot. Defensive error after defensive error after defensive error. Hopefully in the future, we don’t bottle our qualifying group, so that we don’t end up in the last chance qualifier and seeded to the group of death. I mean, had we not bottled it, we would have been in Jordan’s place, and potentially have an easier group stage run. Not much to say specifically about this game, we conceded early to a set piece (shock) and then received a red card to kill off any hope.

I encourage everyone experiencing the same to take a moment to feel thankful for this. I had a cold shower today. I was surprised to find the bathroom mirror had not fogged up. I have both learnt something new today and cooled myself down in doing this. I hope we are past the peak of this heatwave and I hope everyone is taking care to stay hydrated and cool in this heat. Perhaps it should be renamed on KLIPY with key words such as "Bookd"? I enjoyed watching Alf and Elz fight in Pokémon this morning.
